Magna Carta Lecture Series: Lincoln Cathedral’s Magna Carta Abroad

The Very Reverend Philip Buckler, Dean of Lincoln, will be hosting a lecture on ‘Lincoln Cathdral’s Magna Carta Abroad’ as part of the Magna Carta Lecture Series.

The Lecture Series continues with The Very Reverend Philip Buckler MA, Dean of Lincoln, who will be hosting a discussion on Lincoln Cathderal’s Magna Carta Abroad. This lecture will be held in Lincoln Cathedral’s Chapter House, a beautiful backdrop for this interesting debate; and is part of Lincoln Cathedral’s lecture sequence.

Tickets for Lincoln Cathedral’s lectures will be available from December 2014, in person at Lincoln Cathedral Shop, by telephone, or via Lincoln Cathedral’s online box office. A season ticket for all seven lectures is available to purchase for £40.

Situated in the heart of Lincoln, Lincoln Castle has undergone a £22m renovation in line with the 800th anniversary celebrations of Magna Carta. Once completed, the castle will be the home of this consequential document which is one of only four original surviving copies.
